Classes 20(iii) and 137 In a window wherein a passage for ventilating air is provided at one edge of the frame and is controlled by a damper, the passage 15 which is of substantially L- shape is formed in the sill of the window and is formed with a longitudinally-extending arcuate recess 18 in which one edge of the damper 17 is pivotally s u pported. The damper is held in any position by the engagement of an aperture 20 in an arcuate strip 19 with a fixed pin 21. A filter screen 16 is provided.
