Abstract
664,584. Non-refillable bottles. AGUERO Y SOTO, O. Nov. 16, 1949. No. 29338/49. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Sept. 5, 1950.] Class 125 (i). A non-refillable bottle closure has an element 19 to fit the bottle neck and a co-operating element 21 on which a closing cap screws at 22. The element 19 is a hollow cylinder having a valve seating 14. The valve comprises two interfitting elements 9, 10 being hollow cylinders, the former open at each end has an internal annular projection 8 and notches 6 at its upper end, the latter has a closed conical lower end 13 to fit the valve seating, and side openings 11. A ball weight 5 resting on the valve is covered by a thimble 1. The joint between the elements 19, 21 may be closed by a seal or soldered up.
