Abstract

664,255. Gas filters. OZONAIR, Ltd., and COWELL, E. F. W. Oct. 31, 1949 [Dec. 6, 1948], No. 31532/48. Class 8 (ii) In a gas filter wherein deposition occurs on a plurality of spaced zig-zag plates g superposed in an open ended frame so that salient portions of one plate project into re-entrant portions of the adjacent plate, the plates are supported by spacing members d of cross-section corresponding to that of the space between the plates and having straight end portions e extending in the general direction of the members seated in oppositely facing grooves c formed in the sides a of the frame. The plates g are of flimsy aluminium foil and the configuration is maintained by the spacing members d. The ends e are in axial alignment. Specification 322,986, [Class 8 (ii)], is referred to.
