662,982. Band saws. ROWLING, H. C. P., and ROWLING, J. March 9, 1950 [April 27, 1949], No. 11158/49. Class 145 (ii) A bandsaw has the top saw guiding wheel 10 mounted on a beam 4 which is carried by standards 3, one each end of the work table 1, thus giving a free run for the workpiece. Adjustment of the carriage 11 along the beam allows a sloping cut to be made. Wheel 12 may be moved by screw 5 for tensioning the saw blade. A removable portion 6 of the table gives access to the blade.
