Class 66 A bin for bread &c. is shaped as shown the arcuate lid 5 being pivoted at 7 and formed with an extended rim 11 to act as a stop against the bead 9 in the closed position, and, optionally in the open position, or rubber buffers, (not shown), may be provided. The bead 9 may be stiffened by wire or by a rod.
