[Also in Group X] A mortar board construction comprising a triangular frame having tubes d d' which support a mortar board a the mortar board being kept in position by laths e e<SP>1</SP>. The vertical member h of the frame is mounted in bearings j formed in plates k welded to the clips l embracing a scaffold pole f. The clips are formed with pivoted handles m which have slots q which allow them to engage over extensions p on the clip. Thumb screws r hold the clips firmly engaged on the scaffold pole. The board can thus be turned to different positions of use.
