Class 110(iii) [Also in Group XVIII] A steam turbine casing g has a water level indicating device (see Group XVIII) comprising an opening covered by a removable sight glass d approximately at the level of the water discharge point of the boiler. The opening may comprise two vertically spaced holes f co-operating with a slot shaped recess e which is disposed vertically between the holes f either in the exterior face of the boiler casing g in an intermediate member, Fig. 4 (not shown).
