Abstract
654,596. Agricultural implements. LARSEN, S. June 28, 1948, No. 17295. Convention date, June 28, 1947. [Class 6(i)] A device for attachment to the prongs of a potato digger to convert the digger for use as a gapping machine consists of a U-shaped iron member 1 the limbs 2, 3 of which are twisted through 90 degrees and bent towards each other. By passing bolts 8 through flat strips 7 of iron, holes provided in the limbs 2, 3 of the member 1 and the spaces between the prongs 5 the device is clamped in position. In a modification the web of the U has a bent-up section 9 leaving a thinning share on each side, Fig. 2.
