Convention date, Dec. 22, 1947..[Class 110(iii)] [Also in Group XXXIV] In a lubricating and cooling system for the bearings of a gas turbine power plant, air compressed by the compressor 19 passes through an air cooling coil 7] mounted on the cylindrical forward portion of the casing structure 12 surrounding the inlet 11, and conduit 79 to a fitting 83 where lubricant supplied from a reservoir 70 by a lubricating pump 72 is forcibly mixed with the air stream which is then delivered to nozzles at bearing assemblies 35, 37 and 41.
