[Class 145(ii)] In a method of forming a veneered bevelled edge on an article B, the article has strips of veneering V applied to it with the edges of the veneering brought adjacent the arris or arrises of the article according to the width of the bevelled edge to be formed, the arris or arrises longitudinally recessed to a depth to give the necessary width of bevel and a preformed veneered insert strip 1 secured in the recess. The recess may be of triangular, as shown, or of rectangular form..
