[Class 64(ii)] [Also in Group X] A heat insulating panel or bulkhead comprises a corrugated or fluted rigid sheet a bonded at the edges by resilient material c such as rubber, to a similar sheet b, with the flutings at right-angles, to form an airtight inner space which may be evacuated through a valve d. The sheets may be of corrugated steel or aluminium sheet or of asbestos cement. Insulating sheets may be placed between the flutings to prevent thermal contact. Specification 21818/05, [Class 87], is referred to.
