[Class 108(iii)] [Also in Group II] A device for controlling the amplitude of vibration of a screening element relative to a main frame (see Group II) comprises a spring-controlled driving plunger 44 movably housed in a casing 42 secured to the frame 11, the rod 44 of the plunger being attached at one end to a link 40 pivoted to a lug 41 on the frame 11 and at an intermediate point to the screen 10. Springs 43 within the casing bear on opposite sides of a disc 45 adjustably mounted on the plunger rod 44 and at their other ends bear respectively against screw plugs provided in the ends of the casing.
