Abstract

640,981. Electric resonators. SPERRY CORPORATION. Oct. 9, 1942, No. 31097/48. Convention date, Oct. 23, 1941. Divided out of 640,895 and addition to 581,983. [Class 40 (viii)] In a modification of the resonator construction of the parent Specification, both walls of the resonator are provided with conductive members cooperating to form capacityloading means. In one form the resonator 3, Fig. 1, is provided with tubes 5b, 9 projecting from fixed wall 7a and flexible wall 20 respectively, and carrying loading flanges 19, 21. In another form, Fig. 2, intermeshing tubular conductors 30, 32 and 34 are carried by end wall 26 and tube 9 respectively. The application to the frequency-multiplier tube shown, as in Specification 640,895, is disclaimed.
