[Class 120 (iii)] A yarn-carrying bobbin comprises a metal tube a, a flanged hollow metal plug b secured as by means of depressions e, in one or each end of the tube, and a disc or ring f of synthetic resin or other plastic secured to an or each end of the tube by the or each plug. Each disc or ring may be recessed on the inner face to receive one end of the tube and on the outer face to receive the flange of the plug.
