[Class 20 (i)] A cloche has panes of glass slidably and removably mounted in longitudinal stripmetal members C, D which, in section, have two channels 1a, 1b joined by a step portion. The channel la is deeper than the channel lb. One pane 16c is held between the step portions and another pane 16b between the channel la at its upper end and the channel lb at its lower end. To position or remove a pane 16b, it is first pushed up to the top of the channel la. The members C, D are connected by members 2. The upper members C of a roof span are hingedly connected at 3. Side frames may be built up in a similar manner from members E, F, 5. The side frames may be hingedly connected to the roof frames at 4. These hinge connections allow the cloche to be folded flat. The roof frames may be mounted on permanent walls. Stops may be provided to prevent the panes over-running the ends of the cloche. The ends of the cloche may be closed by three panes supported at their lower edges in a channelled base. Several cloches may be joined together end to end. The longitudinal members may have channels of round section and they may be perforated for the removal of water. The side members may be supported on a wooden or metal base.
