Abstract
A method of producing copper sulphate comprises the electrolysis (see Group XXXVI) at a high current density of an electrolyte containing free sulphuric acid and copper, whereby copper dust is deposited on the cathode, oxidation of the copper dust, at a temperature from 500 DEG to 600 DEG C., solution of the copper oxide in sulphuric acid to form copper sulphate, and crystallization of the copper sulphate.
