Abstract
A free-flowing, non-caking composition containing at least 97 per cent of sodium bicarbonate and between 0.1 and 2 per cent by weight of starch, e.g. potato starch, of particle size not exceeding 10 microns, is made by mixing the respective quantities of the ingredients.ALSO:A free-flowing, non-caking composition for use in baking powders contains at least 97 per cent by weight of sodium bicarbonate and between 0.1 and 2.0 per cent by weight of starch, e.g., potato starch, of particle size not exceeding 10 microns.
