Abstract

634,104. Storage bins. POWELL, Ltd., C. B., and POWELL, C. B. Jan. 7, 1947, No. 586. [Class 52 (i)] A storage cabinet comprises a removable container in the form of a minor sector of a cylinder, a tray for carrying the container and hinge means for supporting the tray for pivotal movement about a vertical axis coincident with the axis of the cylinder. As shown, the cabinet 1 is provided with uprights 2, 3. Quadrant shaped trays 4 with flanges 5 have tubular upright members 6 at their centres of curvature which present sockets for pins 9 in brackets 7 attached to the upright 2. The pins 9 may extend on either or both sides of the bracket and are held in their adjusted position by grub screws 10. Containser 11 rest on the trays 4. Other forms of pin and soctek connections are described. In a modification for use in factories several interfitting columns may be arranged as shown in Fig. 5. Specifications 908/08, [Class 29], and 175,859, [Class 52 (i)], are referred to.
