633,182. Pipe joints. GILBERT, T. C. Sept. 10, 1947, No. 24897. [Class 99(i)] Piping systems for liquids comprise the self-threading of tubes 1, which may be of polyvinyl chloride compound or like plastic of tensile strength about 2,000 lbs. per sq. in. and Shore nardness 85-95, into fittings 2 screwed internally with normal V threads. The fittings may be ordinary water pipe fittings, and the tube end 3 may be tapered or rounded. Specifications 565,995, 573,012, 576,081, and U.S.A. Specifications 1,836,986, 2,009,679 and 2,077,864 are referred to.
