632,143. Knitting-machines. STIBBE & CO., Ltd., G., STIBBE, E. V., and BROWN, A. M. Jan. 13, 1947, No. 2733/49. Divided out of 632,085. [Class 74 (ii)] A rotating needle cylinder 2 sliding axially On a driving sleeve 1 for adjustment of stitch length, is connected to the sleeve 1 by springs 14 which hold the cylinder 2 down on to the adjustment means. The springs 14 are located on studs 17 on the sleeve 1 and pass through clearance holes in the flanges 15, 21 of a verge 16 and the cylinder 2, to be secured by pins 19. The cylinder and sleeve are connected by dogs 3 on the cylinder engaging in gaps in a flange 4 on the sleeve as described in Specification 632,085. Specifications 584,052 and 609,260 also are referred to.
