Abstract

632,048. Binding-posts. CRAIG & DERRICOTT, Ltd., and DERRICOTT, E. L. Jan. 21, 1948, No. 1786. [Class 38 (i)] In a binding-post of the type wherein a wire is secured to an element 17 by a washer 14 advanced by a screw 10 screwing into the element, the washer is captive in a groove 11 adjacent the head of the screw whereby the washer moves axially with the screw. One or more leg portions 16 or a skirt on the washer project parallel to the screw and slide over the element 17. The latter may be tubular, as shown, or it may have one or more flat sides, the washer then being square or polygonal.
