631,753. Steam traps. LANCASTER & TONGE, Ltd., and BUTTERWORTH, H. L. March 28, 1947, No. 8418. [Class 64(ii)] [Also in Group XXIX] In a steam trap as described in Specifications 398,445 and 581,291 the seating C of the outlet valve D is screwed into the cover B of the trap and the valve guide E embraces a plain cylindrical surface C' on the outside of the seating and is tightened in position by a screw or pin K. The bore into which the seating C is screwed is continued through the cover and closed by a plug C' which can be replaced when worn. Specification 631,754 also is referred to.
