[Class 135] [Also in Group XXXVIII] In a positional control system, the power supply to a motor is so controlled that the speed of the motor tends to increase continuously in response to a steady value of a control quantity that includes a component substantially proportional to the deviation of the displacement of the motor from that ordered by independently variable control means and a degeneratively applied decaying component accompanying and dependent upon any change of speed of the motor. The invention is described with reference to the system and apparatus disclosed in Specification 630,064. Specification 595,176 also is referred to.
