[Classes 18 and 133] In a travelling case for the accomodation of garments, positioning means for the garments comprise a peg 18 secured at one end to a bracket 19 attached to a wall 16a, Fig. 1, to receive and retain in position the hooks of garment hangers, and supporting means constituted by rails 23 supported at their ends by members 20 attached to a plywood hoop 16 at 21 and 22, the body 10 and lid 11 each being made up of a rigid hoop, such as 16, and a panel, such as 17, of flexible material, the wall 16b of the said body 10 having a handle 13 attached therto. In the lid 11 is fitted a flexible pocket 24, and a flexible partition 25 thereon accomodates small loose articles, a sliding fastener means 14, fastened by a slide 15, acting to close the case. The side wall 16a also may carry a partition or flexible flap. In a modification the case is made of strips of light alloy such as 30, 31, Fig. 5, united by transverse strips such as 32, joined by rivets to angle pieces 33. Bracing strips such as 34 and 35 are added, and the framework spanned by flexible walls. Instead of plywood or metal strip, e.g. light alloy, the framework may be of fibreboard or of synthetic resin or tubular metal.
