[Class 44] [Also in Groups I and XXXIII] The two cable ends 1, 11 of a mooring device are connected by straining means comprising a toggle lever 6, pivoted.at 9 to a yoke 4 and at 8 to means such as a link 7 connected to the part 11, the yoke being engageable between any two adjacent spacers of a series of spacers 2 provided on the part 1 to give an initial adjustment before the straining device is operated. The spacers are retained on the part 1 by a ferrule 3 and have bevelled edges 15. The yoke 4 has a slot 5 to engage the part 1. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 states that the cable parts 1, 11 may be the two ends of a single cable. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
