Abstract
628,736. Electric indicators. TELEPHONE MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and BROCKIES, A. C. July 19, 1945, No. 18537. [Class 40 (i)] In an electrical indicator the indicating member is re-set by the lever of an associated switch. When one of the switches 27, 28 is moved from one position to another by its lever 37, the end of a loop 40 rides on a cam surface 41a and thereby causes a lever 41, pivoted at 42, to move a strip 44. The strip 44 rocks a bell-crank lever 25 so that it engages an indicator arm 21a, and thereby lifts an indicator flap 21 until it is held in its unoperated position by a projection 12a. In a modification, Figs. 3, 4 (not shown), the lever 41 is moved by a bell-crank lever attached to a rod 34 when a switch position is changed. A further modification is referred to in which the re-setting lever is replaced by a spindle lying parallel to the row of switches and arranged to be rotated when a switch is operated. The indicator shown is of the type described in Specification 547,587.
