628,066. Fluid-pressure servomotor-control systems. AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS CO., Ltd., and BRADBURY, F. J. July 11, 1947, No. 18512. [Class 135] In a liquid-pressure servomotor, suitable for operating aircraft control surfaces, the servomotor is connected to a pressure liquid supply conduit 34 or to an exhaust conduit 35 through a main valve 47 which is closed as a result of a movement of the servopiston 13 resulting from an opening of the valve ; the valve being actuated by an auxiliary liquid-pressure servomotor system which includes a pilot valve 65 for controlling the supply of liquid to the auxiliary servomotor, the piston of which is a functional element of the main valve. The face 14 of the piston 13 and the chamber 86 are continuously open to the supply pressure. Movement of a hand-lever 22, Fig. 2, opens the pilot valve 65 through a link 23, a floating- lever 24 and a link 25, thus opening a chamber 66 to either the supply or exhaust conduits, causing the main valve 47 to follow-up this movement. Thus, the face 15 is connected by a conduit 83 with either the supply conduit, through chambers 44, 67, 43, or the exhaust conduit, through chambers 44, 68, 45. The resulting movement of the piston rod 11 recentres the pilot valve, and hence the main valve, through the floating lever 24 and the link 25, closing the chamber 44.
