Abstract

626,194. Fuse boxes. CRABTREE & CO., Ltd., J. A., and HILL, W. E. Aug. 16, 1947, No. 22830. [Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVII] In a triple-pole switch-fuse the axes of the switch-operating spindle and the three cartridge fuses are at right-angles to the insulating base or bases. The fuse unit comprises a cover 12 and a deep rectangular base b having recesses for the cartridge fuses 11 which screw into rings 13a having terminals k. At its lower end each fuse engages with a plate 15 which is connected by strips i, g to a switch terminal fl. A neutral link (not shown), with a terminal k<SP>1</SP> and strip i<SP>1</SP> is located in a channel in the bottom of the base.
