626,162. Screwdrivers; combination tools; handles. SKAMSER, S. March 24, 1947, No. 7992. Convention date, July 30, 1946. [Classes 61(i), 61(ii) and 61(iii)] [Also in Group XXII] A screwdriver has inertia means 16 having driving connection with and slidably adjustable on the non-circular shank 12 to assist in spinning the screwdriver when threading loose fitting screws 29 into tapped holes 31. A cap 14 is rotatably attached to the top of the handle 11, of insulating plastic material, to which the shank 12 is fixed. The hammer headshaped member 16 is fixed to the shank by tightening the thumb screw 24 and in the position shown is used either to spin the screwdriver or tc apply additional torque. For use as a hammer or prizing tool, the member 16 is fixed at the blade end of the shank.
