[Class 146 (iii)] In a propelling pencil in which the lead feeding mechanism is connected to and operated by, the body 7 of a pocket clip 7a, the clip body is axially slidable in a slot in the head section 3 of the pencil body 1 fixed thereto. The body 7 is flat and is connected to a slidable sleeve 11 by a screwed pin 10, said sleeve fitting over the usual lead storage tube 12 connected to the lead feeding mechanism.
