Abstract

622,845. Binding-posts; two-part couplings. WALSALL CONDUITS, Ltd., and GOUGH, E. Nov. 20, 1946, No. 34345. [Class 38 (i)] A terminal suitable for a rectangular pin 10 of the plug disclosed in Specification 622,846, comprises a channelshaped plate 13 having tapered openings 16 in which a lead 17 is held by tightening a screw 12 in the pin 10, the lead thereby being clamped between the pin and the plate and also between the screw and arms 14. An additional grip is obtained by looping back the lead between the screw 12 and arms 15. In Fig. 4 (not shown), a third pair of arms are provided intermediate those 14, 15, and may be tapered, or, according to the Provisional Specification, of uniform width.
