Abstract

622,453. Knapsack frames. BAKKEN, T. March 27, 1947, No. 8327. [Class 133] A tubular metal knapsack frame consists of two individually detachable frame elements in which one frame element is of conventional type having a hip hoop 1 with means for fastening shoulder straps thereto and carries a sack 6; the second frame element 9 is adapted to be fastened to an independent sack 8 and is detachably fastened to and located above the first-mentioned frame. The first frame may carry one or more yokes. In the form shown, frame 9 is fastened to the first frame by a hook 10 which grips the yoke 3. Two individual sacks 6 and 8 are fastened to the first frame and to frame 9 respectively.
