Abstract

622,038. Draught-excluders. MORRIS MOTORS, Ltd., DANIELS, H., and JOB, R. A. E. March 5, 1947, No. 6209. [Class 20 (iii) A draught &c. excluder for doors or windows, comprises a resilient strip having convex outer surfaces on each side of a longitudinal gap which receives a metal flange H around the door or window opening, the surface on the inside of the opening being formed by a curved flap D which encloses a bead C along one side of the gap. In the form shown, the other convex surface is formed by a curved flap B which is compressed by a vehicle door frame J. The rubber strip is secured by tags F bent around the bead C and integral with a metal strip welded to the flange H. A fabric covering (not shown) may be applied to the internal part of the strip.
