[Class 146 (ii)] To strengthen the edges of an envelope made by securing turned over edges b of a paper front c to a cardboard back a, the edges of the cardboard a are turned back along the sides e and lower edge f. The top of the cardboard a may have a flap g which is folded in over the contents and the folded edge f may have a sector shaped recess h to prevent buckling of the edge when the contents are put in the envelope.
