Abstract

621,180. Timepieces. MARTI, F., and BRAUNSCHWEIG, G. Dec. 12, 1946, No. 36744. [Class 139] A time-piece balance 6, Fig. 1, with adjustable moment of inertia is characterised in that blade springs 7 press, on the one hand against the rim of the balance wheel and on the other hand, against at least one of the heads of the adjusting screws 9 screwed into the rim. The blade springs 7 are fastened at one end to the rim by screws 8. The blade springs and adjusting screws may be arranged as shown in Fig. 3, the ends 17 of the springs engaging a groove 11 in the inside of the balance rim. The blade springs may be arranged to press against the outside of the rim by their respective centres and against adjusting screws by both of their respective ends.
