[Class 43] [Also in Group VI] An article of jewellery comprises a container removably mounted in an outer portion g of ornamental material of any desired shape and held in position by flanges i, Fig. 3, or by rings j, Fig. 4, which may be of precious metal; The container comprises a flattened circular metallic casing a having upper and lower sides centrally perforated and bent inwards at c around the perforations b to form a central passage having an opening f in its mid-portion. Absorbent material d (felt, wool, glass wool, cotton wool, pumice, kapok of kieselguhr) is disposed within the casing and is adapted to be charged with perfume or the like which evaporates through the mid-portion apertures f of the container. The central aperture may be closed by suitable caps (not shown) one form of which is perforated or slotted whereupon the inner portions c are correspondingly perforated or slotted to provide the apertures f.
