Abstract

617,902. Heating buildings. MOUL, F. D., and AIR CONTROL INSTALLATION, Ltd. Feb. 28, 1946. No. 6328. [Class 64(ii)] In a central heating and air conditioning system for buildings of the kind in which air is circulated through ducts arranged in or on an external wall, roof, or ceiling of the building, the ducts are constituted by channels formed between a corrugated sheet and a panel and the inner side of the wall between which panel and wall the corrugated sheet is positioned. A layer of heat insulating material may be provided between the corrugated sheet and the wall, etc., and the outer face of the panel may be provided with expanded metal mesh to form a foundation for plaster. The ridges of the corrugated sheet may be flat topped as shown in the Figure where the channels are formed between a panel 50 provided with metal mesh 52 securing plaster 54, a corrugated sheet 56 and the wall 10 provided with an insulating layer 58.
