Abstract
616,570. Ovens. LYONS & CO., Ltd., J., and SCOTT, H. J. Sept. 4, 1946, No. 26593. [Class 126] An oven comprises a heating chamber 2 provided with a door 3 and on the interior side walls, runners 7 at the rear ends of which are upstanding walls 8a bearing slots 8b to receive hinge pins 9a of cover plates 9 forming the lids of removable containers 6 supported by their flanges 6a on the runners 7. On raising the cover plates 9, which remain attached to the oven by the hinge pins 9a, the containers 6 may be slid out of the oven on the runners 7. The oven door 3 which opens on lower hinges 4 is held in a horizontal position by a stop 5.
