Abstract

613,361. Bread boards. BRAMHALL, A. L., and BRAMHALL & CO., Ltd. June 22, 1946, No. 18792. [Class 28(ii)] A shaped slot is cut in a bread-board to accommodate a knife. A narrow groove 15 is cut in the underside of the board 10, and has extensions 19 cut on one or both sides to a width sufficient to accommodate the knife blade 20. The complete slot is cut by a formed milling cutter and may be along the centre line of the board or close to and parallel with one edge, in which case a notch is also cut out to accommodate the knife handle. If the board is sufficiently thick, the knife blade may be accommodated vertically within the thickness of the board. Specifications 410,933 and 598,944 are referred to.
