Abstract

612,265. Preventing scaling of walls. SINCLAIR, T. May 22, 1946, No. 15478. [Class 20(iv)] Apparatus for preventing the scaling of walls &c. comprises a substantially cylindrical cage-like body consisting of a series of rods 1, bars, or sheet material arranged around the perimeters of a number of coaxial discs 2 mounted to rotate on bearing brackets 4 adapted to be secured to the top of a wall &c. 5. The journals 3 extend coaxially from the outer faces of the end discs 2 and rotate in brackets 4 which may extend above the wall or project from one face thereof. When sheet material is used for the body a series of small spiked projections may be stamped up.
