Abstract

611,869. Brushes. JOSEPH, R. May 11, 1946, No. 14270. [Class 19] In a toilet outfit of the kind comprising a container which houses toilet articles and consists of a base portion formed by a brush and an openable cover, the container comprises a bottomless box and a cover of equal depth, a bottom being provided to the box by the back of a hair brush fixed in the box and having a depth of half that of the box. As shown .in Fig. 2, the box 1 and cover 7 form a longitudinally partitioned housing for various toilet articles, the removable pad 8 covering a mirror and accommodating folding scissors and a nail file in slots in its upper surface. The edge of the box is inturned to provide a seating for the back of the brush 4 from which it may be detached for cleaning of the bristles 5. In modifications, the cover may slide in grooves in the box or may be a friction-tight fit with it.
