[Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXII] Relative movement between. one end of a laminated spring 2 and a ball mounting by which it is supported is permitted by the spring end being slotted and engaging a groove formed in the ball 4. The ball 4 may also have sliding movement relative to its housing 5a by means of a separate slidable bearing member 9 into which the upper side of the ball 4 is recessed. The other end of the spring may be mounted without freedom of longitudinal movement as described in Specification 608,937.
