Abstract
608,000. Kites. DICKSON, S. D. Feb. 13, 1946, No. 4549. [Class 4] A kite, which may be of the type controlled by two flying strings as described in Specification 596,046, is provided with a carrier arranged for the automatic release of an article, such as a dummy bomb or figure, when the kite assumes a predetermined altitude. In the form shown in Fig. 1, two dummy bombs 17 are carried at the ends of diverging arms 14, from which they may be released separately -or simultaneously by manipulating the kite into a banked or diving attitude. Fig. 2 shows a dummy figure 26 with a parachute 25 carried in a inverted tube 21, from which they are dropped when the kite dives.
