[Class 40 (v)] Separate gain control circuits are provided for the video and audio amplifiers of a television receiver and an adjustable fraction of each control voltage is applied to the common radio and intermediate frequency amplifiers. The invention is stated to be applicable also to receivers having more than two channels preceded by a common amplifier.
