[Class 20(ii)] [Also in Group XXXII] A pillar, primarily intended for use in the construction of vehicle bodies comprises a cast, extruded or rolled metal member 1 of H-sectior with opposed flanges 4, 5, the web 3 being formed to provide arcuate or semi-circular recesses for the reception of fillets 6, 7. The fillets are secured by screws 8 and are used for the attachment of body panels 9 or other structural members.
