592,811. Ceiling-roses. CLANG, Ltd., and BARNETT, A. Sept. 21, 1945, No. 24532. [Class 38 (i)] A ceiling-rose comprises a moulded insulating base 1 having an outer skirt 1a, a raised central portion 1b forming a central opening in the rear face of the base and a tubular portion 1c, the latter being internally threaded to receive an externally threaded tubular portion 6a extending inwardly from the centre of a cap 6. Leads from a fitting are passed through the tube 6a and through openings 1k in the portion 1c to terminals 2 mounted on the central portion 1b in compartments formed by webs 1f extending tangentially from the portion 1c. For use with surface cables, weakened portions 1l of the skirt may be broken away to admit the said cables.
