Abstract

591,552. Plate racks. MODERN INDUSTRIES (LONDON), Ltd., and VINEY, H. S. Feb. 8, 1945, No. 3194. [Class 28 (ii)] A dish rack is made of aluminium &c. sheet formed with a series of transverse slots 2 which are narrowed at the . centre of a channel or gutter 3. The slots also taper towards their outer ends which are rounded. The edges of the rack are curled over to receive supporting stub shafts 7a mounted in the arms 7 of brackets secured to a wall. The arms 7 have tongue and slot connections with the wall plate to facilitate detachment or they may be pivoted thereto to enable the rack to be raised up out of the way. The bracket arms 7 may have stub shafts on each side to support two or more racks. Wire bridge pieces may be provided under the slots to support special flat plates.
