Abstract

589,319. Wire supporting clips. DEHN, F. B. (Adel Precision Products Corporation). Feb. 6, 1945, No. 2996. [Class 52 (v)] [Also in Group XXV] A wire-supporting clip comprises a resilient wire-embracing band 1 the ends of which can be brought together, one end having a locking tongue 5 and the other outwardly extending lugs 11 which engage the locking tongue in the closed position. The band 1 with cushioning strip 3 supports a group of insulated wires 2 and is bent back at one end to form a U-shaped mounting clasp 9 with spurs 10 to bite into the structural part 4 and lugs 11 with hook ends 12, the other end being bent over at 8 and shaped to provide a locking tongue 5 with a neck portion 6 which enters between the lugs 11 and a T-head 7 with shoulders 7' which engage the hook ends 12. In a modification a mounting clasp is arranged on the band intermediate the ends.
