Abstract

589,290. Earth continuity couplings. DEHN, F. B. (Adel Precision Products Corporation). July 10, 1944, No. 13138. [Classes 36 and 38 (i)] Conduits C of varying sizes are clamped between cushions 1, 2 and secured to a structural part D of an aircraft, by bolts 5 and backing members 3, 4, with narrow flexible bonding strips 7, passing through slots in at least one of the cushions 1, 2 to ensure electrical continuity between the conduits and the metallic structure of the aircraft. One end of the strip 7 may extend into a counterbore 10 in the cushion, making flatwise contact with the bolts 5. One strip 7 may extend over two conduit channels, both ends entering counterbores, Fig. 4 (not shown). Specification 574,224 is referred to.
