[Classes 102 (i) and 102 (ii)] [Also in Group XXII] A machine for pressure casting aluminium &c. has all or some of those parts which engage the molten metal made of or lined with that class of material generally known as sintered aluminium oxide and produced as described in Specification 551,421, [Group V]. Fig. 1, shows a pot a for molten metal with a nozzle b to engage a die an inlet c for charging and for air pressure to force the metal into the die, the pot being made of, or lined and partitioned at g with, the special material. In the case of a plunger pump Fig. 3 the cylinder e or its lining e<1>, the plunger d or a sleeve enclosing it, the nozzle b or its lining, the pipe f or its lining, and the lining of the pot a may be made from said material.
